Austrian Wines

We’ve recently tasted a nice selection of Austrian wines that Wowed! us.

Founded by two brothers one operating the winery, the other involved in the Inn and resturant, this is famliy Estate is the southeast Austria named “Sattlerhof”.  Designed for the vinification of brilliant, clean wines typical of the variety. With the use of gravity, the wine passes through its developmental stages without being strained by mechanical intervention. The grapes are processed and the wines aged according to the variety, characteristics and potential of the individual lots of grapes, and the Sattlerhof cellar is outfitted with all the technical equipment necessary for the production of top-quality wines. The white wines are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless-steel containers. Depending on the variety, after the alcoholic fermentation the wines are subjected to biological deacidification and aged in barriques or in large wooden barrels.
